The U.N. Security Council approved a resolution Thursday night calling for an immediate and durable cease-fire between Hamas militants and Israeli forces in Gaza. The U.S. abstained from the 14-0 vote.
Once again the U.S, courageously led by George Bush, even in the face of disrespect levelled at him from all sides, continues to stand with Israel. The relentless barrage of hostile and biased press coverage from Europe and CNN, notwithstanding, my prayer is that Israel will continue to press its advantage over Hamas and not make the same mistake it made with Hezbollah.
